Just Sold Union Pier Vacation Home Country Cottage

I tend to believe that good things happen to good people.  And I could sense, when I first met this couple more than a year ago, that these people were genuinely nice, hardworking, and honest; not a pretentious bone in their bodies.  I made a mental note that they would be easy to work with. More than a year had gone by, during which communication was limited to a few general inquires, without any signs of serious intention.

A couple months ago, I received a call advising me they were ready to get serious and wanted to retain me as their Broker.  Soon after, we met in Harbor Country to discuss the type of property they wanted me to locate.  They provided very specific guidelines including a main floor master bedroom, at least three bedrooms, office space, enough land to provide for a degree of privacy and the land had to be suitable for building a pool if one was not already there, and to be within walking distance to a nice beach.

A week or two later we scheduled a visit to see four homes meeting their criteria, including this one that matched all of their criteria, and just had a major price reduction! (refer back to the first sentence of this post)

Shortly thereafter, an offer was made, followed by a few counter offers, followed by inspections, meetings, many emails and phone calls, and finally followed by a marathon closing held yesterday, May 11th.  Thank you Cindy Fowler at First American Title!

This couple was a joy to represent, not because they were pushovers; they weren't. But because they knew what they wanted, and they were professional, reasonable, and responsive throughout the entire process, from our first meeting to handing over the keys at the closing.
