If you have been considering a lakefront home in Harbor Country it is time to take a closer look. One of my buyers just closed on a wonderful property with a 153 feet of sugar sand lakefront. This particular buyer was a complete joy to work with, and things moved along quickly after their first visit. What started as a quick look around quickly moved to an accepted offer. This property was exactly what the buyer was looking for, and was priced competitively, enticing this savvy buyer to move quickly. This property offered an unusual level of privacy, and a very natural surrounding. The home itself was old, but manageable, and the buyer will utilize it for a bit while they plan their dream home. These days I am advising all my buyers to apply with a local lender. Even if you have a Chicago lender you are considering, play it safe and apply with a local lender as well.
