Who Is Really Selling All Those Properties?
You see a real estate broker's sign go up in the front yard and a few days later, a rider is added on top with the word, SOLD in big bright red letters. You probably think to yourself, Wow! They must be really good at selling homes. I think I will have them list my house when I get ready to sell!
Well, guess what? There is a really high probability that the agent who sold the property was not with the company that listed the property.

Why is this important to you, the prospective buyer, or even seller? The more an agent is out in the field showing properties, the better educated they will be about the best values, market trends, and best opportunities. There is no substitute for showing homes to real prospective buyers.
Many of the big box brokerages schedule a caravan of homes during the sales meetings once per week to get out and see all the new listings. We have no such meeting at my company. We are all too busy working out in the field.
